Local News – With the new 4th Singapore local telecom MyRepublic became the first to launched Singapore and South Asia’s first 1Gbps Fibre
Broadband plan under S$50 had thus made the mobile space price competitive. This affordable price has initiated a price war with the local internet service providers

MyRepublic has initiate a plan to only charge consumers for only S$8 for a month mobile plan(That is super cheap)  which are currently the lowest here
within the market of Singapore. They are also offering a unlimited data plans which the 3 rival telcos do not provide any
unlimited service package. Should their application for being the 4th telecom license be approved in Singapore, there will be a showdown between the telecom

As the latest competitor in the internet and mobile market MyRepublic, Singtel had started to re-strategize for the war and had thus offered a
new option for the consumer to double their mobile date which is fixed at a additional price of S$5.90 per month.(Fight back!)
This latest announcement on the promotion of double data had been confirmed yesterday (9th of March 2016).

Followed by Singtel move M1 had also halved their prices on the date plan to stay competitive. It will be on a immediate
with consumers that are signing up for a new line or re-contracting for 2 years with the respective Telecos.

M1 had also announce that it will add in 2 more new line only package that in which consumer are able to enjoy up to 20GB
data plan monthly. Confirmation date for this had yet to be confirm and announce.
