A user tried to pay for lunch using PayLah, only to be declined because of software issues. He then used cash to pay for his meal, only to find out later that the transaction he made earlier using PayLah earlier was then deducted from his account.
The issue surfaced around lunchtime on Friday, 21/09/2018, from 11:59am to 12:33pm. The issue has been brought up to DBS. They are currently in discussion on returning the amount to the affected users within the next 3 working days.
The transaction affects hawker centres, convenience shops and those who are using PayLah for online transaction.
Please do check your bank if you used it around that time yesterday.
