In February 2017, for the first time in 10 years, A&W publicized that it is developing its branches.
Singaporeans best recall A&W for its root beer float, twister fries, waffle ice cream and for those who are old enough to recall, consuming an outlet on a floating ship at Sentosa.
Next to unsuccessful track in the past period, A&W has refurbished itself by concentrating on excellence control. They started manufacturing root beer in-house again and proposing fresh foods to consumers in instead of frozen foods.
Transactions for separate A&W stores have subsequently gotten an upsurge of 28%. In 2016, A&W started up 15 US and 21 Intercontinental stores. Now in 2017, the A&W chain intends to develop 20 A&W stores in the US and additional 25 worldwide.
