SARAWAK (Malaysia) — A 32-year-old man has been confined on Tuesday (Jan 2) night for purportedly endeavoring to assault his three-year-old niece at the family home in Sibu, Sarawak.
Sibu locale police boss Assistant Commissioner Zailanni Amit said the episode happened at 8pm when the casualty’s mom heard her little girl’s cry originating from the man’s room.
“When she understood her girl was in there, she endeavored to burst into the room yet it was locked from within.
“She knocked into the door a few times and requested him to open the door. When he did at last minutes after the knocking, the victim promptly came up short on the room crying. The man at that point then came out of the room.
“The victim was crying and claimed to encounter torment on her private part.
“Her mom was stunned when she saw hints of blood and stopped a police report at the Sibu Central police headquarters.”
Following up on the report, Mr Zailanni said police got the man at the house around 11pm.
“The suspect, a worker, confessed to bringing the victim into his room and began to assault her before she began to sob for help.”
